Do you love Nutella? It’s chocolate-y, hazelnut-flavored wonderfulness. And THAT, is precisely what this recipe captures BUT with almonds and with a healthier twist.
I love having this after a long run- it’s the perfect recovery meal when paired with some whole wheat toast, a banana or any fruit of your choice (such as an apple!).
- 2 tbsp unsalted, crunchy almond butter
- 1/2 scoop chocolate protein powder
- drizzle of honey (add until you achieve desired sweetness)
- 3 tbsp almond milk (more/less depending on desired thickness)
Stir it together as best you can (the almond butter might make things a bit gloppy at first, but don’t worry about this!). Microwave for 30 seconds, then stir thoroughly. Enjoy your nice, warm Amazing Almond Nutella!
