This breakfast is quick, creamy, and packed with the taste of paradise in every bite. In fact I guarantee that with a single taste, you will be transported to a white, sandy beach with turquoise water.
Technically speaking, I guess I can’t guarantee that you will be magically transported to a glorious tropical island. But at least, you will have a deliciously creamy, healthy breakfast to make you feel better about not being in paradise.
This only takes five minutes to make, and if you’re rushed in the mornings, you could always make it the night before, and then just stick it in the fridge where it’ll be ready for you the next day. It also only requires a few ingredients!
You will need:
- 1 banana
- 1/2 cup vanilla Greek yogurt (or a little more if desired)
- 6-7 frozen mango chunks.
- Granola (if desired)
Microwave the frozen mango for 1 minute to soften. Combine in blender with all other ingredients, except the granola. Process until smooth (you might have to use a spatula to push the ingredients down until they begin to blend). Sprinkle with some of your favorite granola!
I like to eat it in a bowl with a spoon because I like to savor every bite, and I feel like this helps me to slow down and enjoy it more rather than drinking it as a smoothie from a cup. That’s just my personal preference though!
